In order to get your PAC code from Vodafone, contact them on 08700 700 191 (or 191 from your mobile phone) and request your PAC code. Your PAC code will then either be given over the phone or sent in the post. If it is sent through the post, it should arrive in two working days. Once you have recieved your PAC code, you can then contact your new network provider in order to use your new number with them.

When you have your new Vodafone PAC code/ Port Authorization Code, choose a mobile phone deal which best suits your requirements. If ordering online you will be requested to enter your Vodafone PAC code.

To search online for exclusive deals, check out the following sites: 3 Mobile, Orange, O2, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile , Tesco Mobile, Asda Mobile, Carphone Warehouse, Phones4u and Dialaphone.  Plus, check out the latest mobile phone voucher codes too.  Visit our voucher code website www.voucherseeker.co.uk for the latest mobile phone special offers and voucher codes and save even more money on your mobile phone deal.

The process takes approximately 7 working days.  Once this process is complete your existing SIM will no longer work and you will be given a new SIM card by your new service provider.

Please note: You cannot 'port' your number if you have chosen a new phone on your same network.  Your current service provider will provide you with an upgrade.

You cannot 'port' your number if you have not completed your minimum contract term with your existing supplier, Vodafone.  Check your existing terms and conditions with your current service provider, Vodafone to establish when you can change networks.

*An important point to bear in mind is that you should not cancel your contract with your existing service provider, Vodafone until they have provided you, free of charge, with a PAC code and you have passed this onto your new service provider.  If you cancel your contract with your existing service provider, Vodafone before you have your PAC code then your new service provider may charge you a connection fee and you may not be able to transfer your number across.
