Firstly contact your current network provider, Orange on 07973 100 450 (or 450 from your mobile phone) and request your PAC/Port Authorisation code.  Orange will then either issue you your Orange PAC code over the phone or send it in the post within 2 working days.  You will need to give this code to your new service provider in order to use your existing number with them.

Once you have received your Orange PAC code/ Port Authorization Code from Orange simply choose the deal that best suits your usage requirements and order online - during the order process you will be asked to enter your Orange PAC code.  Please note - that many of the best mobile phone deals are only available exclusively online.  View the latest online deals from Vodafone, O2, 3 Mobile, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile , Tesco Mobile, Asda Mobile, Carphone Warehouse, Phones4u and Dialaphone.  Plus, check out the latest mobile phone voucher codes too.  Visit our voucher code website www.voucherseeker.co.uk for the latest mobile phone special offers and voucher codes and save even more money on your mobile phone deal.

The process takes approximately 7 working days.  Once this process is complete your existing SIM will no longer work and you will be given a new SIM card by your new service provider.

You cannot 'port' your number if you have chosen a new phone on your same network.  Your current service provider will provide you with an upgrade.

You cannot 'port' your number if you have not completed your minimum contract term with your existing supplier.  Check your existing terms and conditions with your current service provider to establish when you can change networks.

*An important point to bear in mind is that you should not cancel your contract with your existing service provider, Orange until they have provided you, free of charge, with an Orange PAC code and you have passed this onto your new service provider.  If you cancel your contract with your existing service provider, Orange before you have your Orange PAC code then your new service provider may charge you a connection fee and you may not be able to transfer your number across.
